A grand Lithuanian charity ball returns to London - an evening inspired by The Little Prince will shine with light, music, and kindness

After a break of several years, one of the most beautiful and eagerly awaited events of the Lithuanian community returns to the capital of the United Kingdom - the LCCUK Charity Ball 2025. This is a prestigious charity gala where togetherness becomes real help for those who need it most.

This year, the event will take place on November 29 at the Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill hotel. Its theme and motto - “For the victory to live” - symbolically reflect strength, hope, and the fight for life led by children battling serious illnesses. All funds raised will be donated to the children supported by the Rimantas Kaukėnas Charity Group in Lithuania who are fighting oncological diseases.

The event is organized by LCCUK (Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in the UK) together with the Rimantas Kaukėnas Foundation. The evening is under the patronage of Asta Radikaitė, Ambassador of Lithuania to the UK. The guest of honour of the event will be the Lord Mayor of Westminster, Cllr Paul Dimoldenberg.

A star-filled stage

This year, the LCCUK Charity Ball 2025 stage will shine brighter than ever.

Inspired by the world of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince, where the most important things are seen not with the eyes but with the heart, the organizers invite everyone to immerse themselves in an evening full of light, music, and kindness. “When hearts meet for a common purpose, miracles are born,” reads the evening’s invitation, illustrated with motifs from The Little Prince.

For this special charity night, the organizers have gathered some of Lithuania’s brightest musical talents.

The voice of Merūnas Vitulskis - one of the country’s most renowned tenors - will resonate on stage.

Monika Liu will lend the event subtlety and elegance - her songs, like small film scenes, are full of emotion, femininity, and tenderness.

THE ROOP will bring a burst of energy, as their performances always shine with colour, rhythm, and joy.

The roles of evening hosts are entrusted to a charismatic duo - Indrė Kavaliauskaitė and Vytautas Rumšas Jr., well known from television and theatre.

Guests can expect not only music and art but also a charity auction offering artworks, travel opportunities, exclusive experiences, and symbolic gifts generously provided by partners from Lithuania and the United Kingdom.

The LCCUK charity evening will take place at the magnificent five-star Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, located in Portman Square, right in the heart of London - just steps from Oxford Street, Hyde Park, and Marble Arch. The hotel belongs to the international Hyatt chain and is known for its British refinement. Opened in 1970 and later extensively renovated, it retains its classic style and luxurious atmosphere.

The name was chosen in honour of the legendary British leader Winston Churchill. His personality and legacy inspired the interior: the walls display original Churchill quotes and family portraits, while the Churchill Bar & Terrace is renowned for having one of the best cocktail menus in London.

The hotel offers more than 400 luxurious rooms and suites, as well as modern conference and banquet halls, including the Chartwell Ballroom, where this year’s charity evening will take place.

It is here, within historic walls that have witnessed countless grand events, that the Lithuanian community in London will gather - dressed up, glowing, ready to celebrate life, share kindness, and continue the beautiful LCCUK charity tradition.

A returning tradition

Before the pandemic, this charity event brought together hundreds of guests every year: diplomats, business representatives, artists, cultural figures, and members of the Lithuanian community from across the United Kingdom and Lithuania.

The glamorous evenings held in London’s prestigious hotels featured some of Lithuania’s most prominent creators - from singers to visual artists, from social leaders to political figures.

After several quiet years, LCCUK decided to revive this cherished tradition.

“This is one of those evenings when, even being far from Lithuania, we can once again feel how strong and united we are,” says LCCUK president Laura Budrienė.

A noble partnership

This year’s gala is organized in cooperation with the Rimantas Kaukėnas Support Foundation - an organization that for many years has been bringing hope to children battling oncological diseases. The foundation was established in 2012 by former basketball player Rimantas Kaukėnas, with a mission to provide help to young fighters.

Over more than a decade, the foundation has initiated hundreds of projects, supported countless families and hospitals, and its name has become a symbol of hope in Lithuania. Thus, this year’s LCCUK Charity Ball becomes a bridge between London and Lithuania - between those who can help and those who urgently need support.
